Description

17. This is a Market Survey to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capability, and experience to provide certain public works and other municipal services at the Presidio of Monterey (POM) and the Ord Military Community (OMC)(portions of the former Fort Ord, California retained by the Army). The work includes providing all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, equipment and transportation for services that could include the following -- Maintenance of: Water Distribution System; Waste Water Collection System; Storm Water Collection System; Tree Inspection, Trimming and Removal; Street Maintenance and Repair; Fencing Maintenance and Repair; Fire Alarm Maintenance; Elevator Maintenance; HVAC Maintenance and Repair; Pest Control; Carpentry, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry, and Lighting. The work also includes manning a 24hour/7day a week Trouble Call Desk, performing preventative maintenance, emergency and routine work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $20 million. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to receive an award. All eligible firms responding to this Sources Sought must ensure their response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the government to determine the firms qualifications to perform this requirement. Only firms having relevant experience performing this type of requirement will be evaluated as qualified for consideration. Interested firms must complete a Contractor Capability Survey that is due by Friday, 15 Dec 00. A copy of the Survey can be obtained by written request to the address above or via Fax (831) 242-6591. All requests for the Survey must provide the following business information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, and Business Size.
