Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, "Acquisition of Commercial Items" This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number, N66001-01-R-0008, is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego intends to procure on a sole source basis an Instrument Landing System from AIRSYS ATM Inc. of Shawnee KS. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The NAICS Code for this action is 33422. CLIN 0001 shall be one lot as follows: One Each MK20ALOC-3 consisting of Localizer SEDF with 14 Element Antenna Localizer Electronics Subsystem, 14 each LPD Antenna Element, Antenna Installation Kit, Internal Junction Box, LOC DUCU-14 DF CCA Transient Suppressor, Single Equipment LOC/GS-Battery Kit, Mark 20 A ILS Instruction Manual, Mark 20 A LOC Instruction Manual. CLIN 0002 shall be one lot as follows: One Each Mk~20ALOC-SE-SPARES, consisting of SE LOC/GS Common, SE LOC Unique. CLIN 0003 shall be one lot as follows: One Each MK20AGS-3 consisting of Glide Slope SEDF with Capture Effect Antenna Glide Slope with Electronics Subsystem, 3 each GS Antenna Elements, 3 each GS Antenna Mounting Kits, CE GS DUCU, Single Equipment LOC/GS -- Battery Kit, Mark 20A Glide Slope Instruction Manual. CLIN 0004 shall be Part Number 069369-0001, Mark 20A Endfire Glideslope Conversion Kit. CLIN 0005 shall be one lot as follows: MK20AGS-SE-SPARES, consisting of SE LOC/GS Common CCA, GS Mod/PA Assembly. CLIN 0006 shall be one lot as follows: 5960DME-IC, consisting of 5960C DME SELP with Omni-Directional Antenna, Single Equipment Low Power Omni-Directional Antenna-APC Battery Kit, Indoor, Sealed, 40 AH Manual Set, DME. CLIN 0007 shall be one each, part number 069187-0002, DME Antenna Installation Kit. CLIN 0008 shall be one each, DME-SITE-SPARES, consisting of Spare Fuse Kit. CLIN 0009 shall be one each, DME-SLP MODULES-SPARES, consisting of SE/LP Modules Spares Kit. CLIN 0010 Shall be one each RSM-ILSIDME, consisting of Remote Status Monitor -- ILS/DME, ILS/DME Receiver. CLIN 0011 shall be two each ILS-DME-SHELTER, type 6 F ILS Equipment Shelters, 8' x 12', 60 Hz, FAA Approved. CLIN 0012 shall be one each PMDT, Portable Maintenance Display Terminal. CLIN 0013 shall be one lot of additional manuals as follows: Mark 20A ILS Instruction Manual, Mark 20A LOC Instruction Manual, Mark 20A Glide Slope Instruction Manual Set DME. Delivery will be four months after receipt of order. FOB Destination. The provisions of 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 with their offer. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Status or Execute Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The standard commercial warranty applies. This is not a rated contract. The closing date for receipt of offerors is 16 January 2001. See numbered Note 22.
