Description

This is a correction/addition to earlier synopsis for the AIRSAVE SYSTEM which was published on February 25, 2000. Delete information in previous synopsis and substitute the information that follows. Numbered notes 1, 9 and 26 apply. Subject solicitation will be issued as a Total Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. Item to be acquired is the Airsave Survival System. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract with two 100% term options. The solicitation will utilize Best Value Source Seletion procedures. Evaluation factors will be Product Demonstration Models, Past Performance, Manufacturing Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Socioeconomic Program Support, DLA Mentoring Business Agreement and Javits Wagner O'Day Act. First Article will be required. The deadline for receipt of offers will be 45 days from date of solicitation issuance. Deliveries will be required to begin 210 days after award with twelve deliveries. Destination is DD Susquehanna and DD Tracy. Specification is MIL-DTL-29611 dated September 26, 1996 and Pattern Date: 29 September 2000.
