Description

The GSA/FTS, Region 5 is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for Microsoft Premier Support. Use of Microsoft specific support is essential to the Government's requirements, thereby precluding consideration of a service by another company, because it meets the requirements for account management, proactive services, information services and technical support. No other service provider offers comparable support to meet the requirement for direct access to Microsoft software developers and source code for current and future products. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation, reference Number 5TS5701C038. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-19. NAICS Code 541512, Information Management Computer Systems Integration Design Services. This requirement is for fixed price Premier Support Package, comprised of one each: Half TAM, Quarter Alliance Support Team-NT, and Quarter Alliance Support Team-Exchange. Delivery and acceptance of all items shall be F.O.B. Destination at HQ AMC, 861 South Drive, Room 352, Scott AFB, IL 62225. Delivery of all items shall be not later than 30 September 2001.
