Description

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Dionex Corporation, 1228 Titan Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94088-3603, to acquire a three-year maintenance and repair service agreement for a Dionex DX-500 Ion Chromatograph, Model DX-500. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm that believes it possesses the above technical expertise is encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements and possession of the requisite technical expertise. All responses received within ten days of the date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice, is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
