Description

Z Upgrade Canine Road, NSA, Ft. Meade, MD. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS 234110/SIC Code 1629, size standard $27,500,000.00. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Completion no later than 180 calendar days. Work consists of the upgrading of existing Canine Road from the Canine Road/Samford Road interchange to Emory Road and includes pavement demolition, grading, utility relocations, storm drainage work, new paving, fencing, street lighting, signalization, and landscaping. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be in either: compact disk (CD) or web site. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors may view and/or download solicitation information from the Internet at http://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency, can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract.
