Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F44600-01-T-0003 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. (iv) The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 23552 with a size standard, averaged over a one year period of $11,500,000. (v) This RFQ is for one contract line item to remove and replace tile in the Langley AFB Bowling Center. This is a lump sum job. (vi) The following requirements are applicable: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to remove and replace the tile in the Langley AFB Bowling Center. (vii) Delivery: Performance Period will be from 26 Dec through 31 Dec 00. Performance of work will be accomplished at the Langley AFB Bowling Center. Acceptance and FOB point are the Langley AFB Bowling Center. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2 does not apply. (x) Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (OCT 00) with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference. (xii) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items (DEV), 52.222-3, Convict Labor, 52.233-3 Protest After Award, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer- Central Contractor Registration, 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items and 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, are hereby incorporated by reference. (xiii) NAF Clauses and Provisions apply to this solicitation. The following is the statement of work for this solicitation. (1) Remove existing rubber tile flooring in the first landing and the bowling pit area of the Bowling Center and dispose of old materials in accordance with Federal, State or local laws. Prepare floor in accordance with vinyl manufacturer_s recommended procedures to accommodate new adhesive and new Mannington Assurance or equal sheet vinyl with chemical welded seams. Contractor must insure that all furniture anchors remain in the identical location so furniture can be re-installed in existing locations. The Bowling Center staff will remove furniture and related equipment and re-install. There are 288 anchors. (2) Remove existing rubber tile flooring in the Snack Bar area and dispose of the old materials in accordance with Federal, State or local laws, prepare floor in accordance with vinyl manufacturer_s recommended procedures to accommodate new adhesive and install Stratica Granite or equal 12" x 12" Block Tile with Stripwood inlay 12" borders. The Bowling Center staff will remove furniture and related equipment and re-install. Work may be performed during non duty hours. (3) Remove existing rubber tile flooring in the vestibule and dispose of the old materials in accordance with Federal, State or local laws, prepare floor in accordance with vinyl manufacturer_s recommended procedures to accommodate new adhesive and install Stratica Stripwood or equal. (4) Remove existing rubber tile flooring behind the Front Counter and the Pro Shop Storage area and dispose of the old materials in accordance with Federal, State or local laws, prepare floor in accordance with vinyl manufacturer_s recommended procedures to accommodate adhesive and new Mannington Assurance sheet vinyl or equal with chemical welded seams. Work may be performed during non duty hours. (5) Remove existing rubber tile flooring in the Game Room and dispose of the old materials in accordance with Federal, State or local laws, prepare floor, in accordance with vinyl manufacturer_s recommended procedures, to accommodate new adhesive and new Mannington Assurance sheet vinyl or equal with chemical welded seams. (6) All work, except for the work discussed in paragraphs 2 and 4, is to be performed during normal business hours during the period Dec 26 through Dec 29, 2000. Normal business hours for the bowling alley are between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Non-duty hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The bowling center will remove all furniture and re-install the furniture. (7) These measurements are approximate. The video game area is 15_1_ by 12_2_. The entrance vestibule area is 6_10_ x 6_5_. The pro shop storage area is 7_4_ x 14_. The counter area is 5_2_ x 17_8_. The front area is 14_7_ x 16_4_. The seating area is 17_ x 14_6_. The bowling pit area is divided into two areas. The pit area is 152 feet long and 10 feet 3 inches wide and the landing area is 152 feet long and 6 feet wide. The contractor is responsible to insure accurate measurements are obtained prior to ordering of materials. (8) The following are the color choices made based on the brand name specified: Stratica X-W551 Classic Maple; Stratica X -- VS99 Travertine Aubergine; and Assurance Slip Retardant Sheet flooring 16009 by Mannington. (9) If an _or equal product_ is offered, the contractor shall identify that and include descriptive literature with their quotation. (xiv) This solicitation has an assigned rating of C20. (xv) N/A (xvi) Offers may be faxed to 1 CONS/LGCB at (757) 764-7447, or mailed to 1 CONS/LGCB, 74 Nealy Ave., Langley AFB. All offers are due by 2:00 P.M. Local Time, 11 Dec 2000. Contractor must be registered in CCR to be eligible to receive this award.
