IFB N68711-00-B-8996, REPLACE ROOFTOP COOLERS, BLDG. 1825 (R3-00) The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision for removal of existing rooftop air conditioning units, support/platform structure assemblies, portions of roofing materials and roof insulation, ductwork systems, piping systems (gas and condensate drain), insulation systems, control systems, electrical systems, and associated components and accessories; installation of new rooftop packaged air conditioning units, ductwork systems, piping systems (gas and condensate drain), insulation systems, support/platform structure assemblies, miscellaneous metal work, roof insulation and roofing materials, painting, control systems, electrical systems, and all related and associated components and accessories, and incidental related work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. Site Visit 9:00 AM, local time, 16 January 2001. Only one site visit will be offered. Bid Opening 2:00 PM, local time, 01 February 2001. Duration of contract 180 calendar days. Estimated Cost Range between $100,000 and $250,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. NOTE: Bids submitted in response to this advertisement will be evaluated in compliance with FAR Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns (Jan 1999), which is applicable to this solicitation. NAICS Code 23511. The related Small Business Size Standard is $11.5 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet.
