Description

The Naval Air Systems Commands intends to negotiate with Northrop Grumman Corporation, 609 South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714, to complete the retrofit of one E-2C Group aircraft to the Mission Computer Upgrade (MCU) (ECP-417) configuration. This contract will include the material procurement of one MCU (ECP-417) kit and the installation of this kit. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the E-2C Aircraft and the only source with the requisite knowledge, facilities, information and expertise to accomplish this effort. The Government does not own the requisite technical data package required to complete this effort. See Note No. 22 and 40 -- NAVAIR Synopsis No. 20117-00
