E-I constant speed drive, in A-10 and S-3A aircraft. Consists of a cylinder block and nine piston and slipper assemblys. If AQLs are listed in the specification(s) or drawing(s)they may be used to establish the authorized sample size, however, the acceptance number for this contract is zero; i.e., this contract requies a sampling plan that accepts on zero defects and rejects on one or more defect(s). This is an ASO/NAVSEA/AVSCOM critical application item. Current approved sources are Sundstrand, cage code 99167 and part number 718066 and Discovery Corporation cage code 64546 and part number 188035. See applicable note number twenty-six. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp on its issue date of 01/02/00. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains a 50% option for increased quantities. This is an unrestriced acquisition. This solicitation includes an option quantity in accordance with clause I30/I30a. It contains multiple option contract line items and exercise periods. Offerors shall insert the available option quantity and price(s) which may be exercised concurrently with or within the specified time period or after the award, but before the expiration of the full option period. A mandatory entry is required for the basic option quantity which will be evaluated at time of award unless the offerors has entered a lower price for the option quantity ranges to be exercised concurrent with the award and there is a requirement available to exercise the option concurrent with the award.
