Description

The contractor shall procure, assemble and test twenty-two (22) sets of battery packs and deliver twenty-two (22) sets of Position Velocity Deep Ocean Transponders (PVDOTs)(NT-061) units for at sea use; shall manufacture and assemble four (4) Re-launch Kits for PVDOT at sea operation; and inspect, refurbish and test twenty-two (22) sets of PVDOT units. This effort will include one option year for the procurement of in port/at sea PVDOT support. SSP intends to enter into this agreement with Sonatech, Inc. Sonatech Inc. has been the single contractor utilized by SSP for the design, development, and production of all launch and impact area Deep Ocean Transponders (DOT) and is the only contractor that has the technical background and expertise, trained personnel, in-house logistics, and test/repair capabilities required to provide SSP with the required engineering support services.
