Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Racal Recorders Inc, 480 Spring Park Place, Herndon, VA on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase 1 ea storehouse spares kit consisting of the following: hub clamp;nut m30;interlocking cam; nut m12; vdu; servo 1 pcb; bias driver; cal measure pcb; cal generator;power amp pcb; control panel 1 and 2; spool motor; capstan motor; tension motor; pre amp reg; calibration board; bias control;cpu assembly; outer hub fixing; door assy; t/r roller & base; v-guide; hub inner & outer assy; parallel & barreled roller; servo 2 pcb; 28 wb record & replay heads; fm signal card; door lock assy and tape v guide assy. These are spare parts for Project Beartrap. They are integral in the repair of a post mission processor. In order to assure mission & site interoperability, these components must be obtained from Racal Recorders. The Government intents to negotiate on a sole source basis with Racal Recorders.Written requests for copies of Request for Quotation may be faxed to (301) 757-0200 to the attention of Betty Goddard. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
