Description

The US Army Research Laboratory, Weapons and Materials Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of a Powder Hopper, Passivation, System, Gas Heater, Gas Control Module w/o Flow Meters, Prechamber and Nozzle, Computer Control and Data Acquisition System, and a Systems Engineering/Qualification statement. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). ARL intends to procure the above as a sole source procurement with exclusive license to make and sell from KTech Corporation, Albuquerque, NM pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Interested firms have 10 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing via FAX 410-278-6522 to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the 10 days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
