Description
The General Services Administration, Federal Supply Service's Multiple Award Schedules Program provides commercial services and products to the Federal Government on a worldwide basis. These Federal Supply Schedule programs are constantly expanding its range of services and products and streamlining processes, making it easier to shop, order, and pay. The Corporate Contract is a new Federal Supply Schedule that offers a single storefront for all services and products under the Schedules program. It is a single schedule covering all commercial items procured by Federal Supply Service as outlined in the solicitation documents. As knowledge brokers, we envision corporate contracting adding more value by reducing administrative costs, shortening lead times for both Government and industry while ensuring quality services and products. Corporate Contracts offer both small and large businesses the opportunity to provide their entire business lines in a single schedule -- no more hunting for the right schedule fit-eliminating redundancy in preparing bids, publishing price lists and reporting sales, reducing administration costs and thus reducing costs to do business. Offers may be submitted in a consolidated fashion saving time and money. From a customer perspective, corporate contracting will provide a single entryway to the commercial marketplace -- no more searching through various schedules to find needed items-and will reduce administrative work. Total solutions for customer requirements will be available, easily accessible and provide a best value, greatest overall benefit approach through the corporate contract. Customers can build multiple partnerships with small and large businesses to accomplish the multiplicity of tasks required in meeting mission requirements. You are encouraged to review the solicitation and exhibits at www.fedbizops.gov, and in the search bar, type in FCO-00-CORP-0000C. Begin your review with the file entitled ccfinal.doc. This file is the basic solicitation and contains a guide to the contents of the other exhibits (paragraph E.7). The corporate solicitation has just recently been refreshed in its entirety since its original July 12, 2000 release and two amendments -- to eliminate confusion because of file sizes of this solicitation, all older corporate solicitation files have been archived or deleted. All changes from the previous version are highlighted in red font. We invite you to participate! If you are an existing schedule contractor and are interested in participating in the Corporate Contract, please review exhibit 9 of the solicitation carefully for detailed instructions on how to participate. To all current multiple award schedule contract holders and all future interested parties of the Multiple Award Schedule program: Given the increased acceptance of commercial electronic commerce capabilities and improvements to GSA Advantage!, GSA requires schedule contractors to participate in GSA GSA Advantage!_. All schedule contractors must submit their electronic files to GSA GSA Advantage!_ by July 1, 2001, or 6 months after contract award, whichever is later. Should you have questions about this procurement, please contact Rebecca Koses on (703) 308-3727 or e-mail rebecca.koses@gsa.gov. The Corporate Contract Solicitation (FCO-00-CORP-0000C) is a standing solicitation for a 5-year base period with three 5-year options to renew. Offers may be submitted at any time.
