Description

HQ USCENTCOM, Bldg 540, MacDill AFB, Florida 33621. Microsoft Premier Support Renewal, to include TAM and ADC hours and one on-site visit. This is a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate a sole-source order with Microsoft Corporation. MacDill AFB intends to issue a purchase order to Microsoft under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 -- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Proposal due date: 8 Dec 00, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation per FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. FAR provision 52.212-1, 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition, offer shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, and satisfactory past performance record. Additional applicable FAR and DFARS clauses: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.232-33, 252.225-7001. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, with their quote.
