Description

USDA Forest Service; Pacific Southwest Region, intends to lcontract for three contractor operated multi-engine, high-wing aircraft to be a platform for an Air Attack supervisor conducting wildland fire reconnaissance and directing aerial fire suppression activities. Following are the bases and performance periods for each site: Chester, California -- 6/15 to 10/15; Fort Jones/Scott Valley, California -- 6/1 to 9/30; and Grass Valley, California -- 6/15 to 9/30. The solicitation is expected to be issued on 1/4/01. The contract time is one year with four option years.*****
