Description

The contract will be to provide fully Contractor operated and maintained helicopter flight services consisting of one light turbine helicopter (AS 350 B2, Bell 407 or equal) in support of the Bureau of Land Management wildland fire management programs. The helicopter will be based at Boise, Idaho. The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required under the contract. And as well will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The term of the contract will be one year with options to renew for three additional years with a 115-day exclusive use period beginning approximately June 20 and extending through October 12.
