First Article Test Report is due 198 DACA. Without First Article delivery is 45 each 210 days after contract award and 45 each month thereafter until shipped complete. Quantity 95 each with two 100% options. Applicable to the UH-1 Airframe/Power Train Unit. FOB Destination to Stockton, CA. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Approved sources are Bell Helicopter, Hurst, TX and Dye R E Mfg Corporation, Breckenridge, TX. The time required for approval of a new supplier is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website {HYPERLINK http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and look under SAR information. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
