Description

US Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center, White Sands Division, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis, as precribed by FAR 6.302-1 (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for (2) each R23 Refrigerant Freon, 1200 lb Cylinders only, plus deposit on Clyinders, white is available from DuPont Company, Wilmington, DE. Vendors seeking to challenge the sole-source justification must present clear and convicing evidence of their capability to provide this requirement, in writing, by December 13, 2000. Oral commuications are not acceptable.
