Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure two (2) each Centrifugal Pump Units, Stock Number 4320-01-283-1137, Carver Pump Company P/N D-ETN-0-98-002. The U.S. Coast Guard ELC intends to solicit ONLY Carver Pump Company, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and/or their authorized distributors. The Government does NOT possess any technical or engineering specifications or drawings to provide with the Request For Quotation (RFQ). However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities to supply these Pumps may submit information explaining their capabilities. This information must be received NO LATER THAN 21 December 2000. Information received after this established deadline SHALL NOT be considered for this procurement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered Pump: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered Pump (i.e., salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), or (2) Data that the offered Pump has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. See Numbered Notes 12 and 26. Attention: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
