Description

RADIO FREQUENCY TARGET GENERATOR. Anticipated Award Date 01 MAR 31 THIS PROPOSAL WILL BE ISSUED AS A SOURCE SELECTION. ACQUISITION OF THIS RFTG WILL FILL A MISSION CRITICAL NEED OF THE F-16 AVIONICS SUPPORT FACILITY (ASIF) AT HILL AFB IN SUPPORT OF THE F-16 C/D WEAPON SYSTEM. THE RFTG WILL PROVIDE SIMULATION OF MUTIPLE RADAR TARGETS TO THE AN/APG-68 RADAR. THE ITEMS IN THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE USED WITH THE INTEGRATION TEST STATIONS IN THE F-16 ASIF, TO SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT AND TEST OF THE F-16 C/D OPERATIONAL FLIGHT PROGRAMS (OFPS). PROVIDE ONE RFTG TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE AN/APG-68 RADAR LOCATED IN THE F-16C INTEGRATION TEST STATIONS (ITS) AT HILL AFB. THE RFTG WILL STIMULATE THE RADAR WITH SIMULATED TARGETS. THE RFTG MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: ONE INDEPENDENT TARGET CHANNEL; TARGET TYPES; TARGET OUTPUT POWER; TARGET OUTPUT POWER ACCURACY; TARGET RF FREQUENCIES; DIRECTION INJECTION OUTPUT; FREE SPACE OUTPUT; AIR TO GROUND WAVE FORMS; TARGET RANGE; TARGET VELOCITY; TARGET ATTENUATION; TARGET DDOPPLER RATE; TARGET PULSE WIDTH; USER INTERFACE; START UP FILE; GROWTH PROVISIONS.
