Description

A/E design services to complete NRM project 508-01-103, Fire Safety Evaluation/Correction. The consultant shall provide a complete fire safety assessment of the various buildings at the VAMC (Atlanta). The consultant shall validate existing plans for improvement (PFIs) in the current JCAHO Statement of Conditions (SOC), and perform a comprehensive survey of the facility to develop relevant construction that improves the fire safety of the medical center beyond those items enumerated in the SOC. The consultant shall provide all architectural and engineering services as required to develop complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports and cost estimates to implement the approved recommendations of the Preliminary Design/Evaluation phase of the contract. In addition, CAD drawings for all Fire/Safety Systems will also be consolidated and provided as part of this design. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. All A/Es interested in this proposed procurement action are required to submit their current SF 254 & 255 to the Contracting Officer NLT 3:00 PM (EST) on 1-12-01. This is an unrestricted procurement. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. Faxed SF 254s and 255s are not acceptable. Numbered Note 24 is applicable to this acquisition.
