Description

The Viriginia Contracting Activity on behalf of the Defense of Intelligence Agency (DIA), intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price purchase order to Heidelberg Eastern, Inc. Riverspark II, Building 1, 9104 Guilford Road, Columbus, MD 21046 for maintenance service on several different pieces of the SORD printing equipment. Heidelberg is the manufacturer of all the equipment that is being serviced and is the sole properietary of this equipment. Other sources capable of satisfying this requirement are invited to submit clear and convincing data substantiating their capability to satisfy this requirement. All responses should reference PR 498/0207Z/01-01. Interested parties have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their qualification/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a full and open competition basis. Responses received without this requested information may be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. Oral communications will not be acceptable. A determination by the Virginia Contracting Activity not to compete this proposed procurement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this synopsis is soley within the discretion of the Virgina Contracting Activity.
