Description

In accordance with FAR 9.2 and Public Law 98.525, this synopsis constitutes notice that the Air Force has established Qualification Requirements (QR's) for the repair of the following item: Flight Control Panel, P/N: UL-308730, NSN: 6615-01-397-1728, applicable C-130 and C141 aircraft. The Flight Control Panel is a crucial part of the Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS). The AFCS provides the functions of three- axis autopilot, flight director, automatic trim, status and warning, and test for operational control over the C-130 and C-141 flight profiles. This is not an RFP. No solicitation document exists. The Air Force does not possess data required for repair of these items.
