Description

E-6 In-Flight Trainer Lease -- There will be an Industry Day held at Tinker AFB on 07 DEC 2000 in the LK Conference Room at 0800 to provide a forum for questions concerning the requirement. Requirement is for the contractor to provide one or more Boeing 737 lease aircraft to meet the annual need for 6000 landing cycles/2000 flight hours of operation per fiscal year in support of fleet air reconaissance squadron seven (VQ-7) mission. The first period of the lease (FY 01) will be prorated to 2500 landing cycles/835 flight hours. Operations are home-based at Tinker AFB, OK. Aircraft may fly anywhere in the continental USA in pursuit of training objectives. Aircraft availability and required maintenance and logistics support shall be specified in the Technical Requirements Document (TRD). The Navy will operate aircraft in accordance with the FAA approved airplane flight manual for the aircraft type. Lease Period will begin 01 May 2001 to 30 September 2001 with three one-year options. Should more than one aircraft be provided all aircraft engines and cockpit configurations shall be of the same type and series.
