Description

The Defense Commissary Agency has a requirement for linen/laundry rental and exchange services for twelve commissaries located in the following states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Wisconsin, and Missouri. The linen service items to be rented and cleaned under this solicitation include: butcher coats, butcher pants, butcher shirts, and butcher aprons, cashier, grocery, and produce smocks or colored aprons, and non skid mats, dust mops, and wet mops. The linen requirements for each commissary are specified in the solicitation. The contractor is required to provide any garment requirements in a variety of sizes. Pick up of soiled garments, mats, or mops and drop-off of clean replacement garments, mats, or mops is required, as a minimum, once each week. The period of performance is July 1, 2001 through November 30, 2002 with two (2) one-year option periods. Multiple awards are possible. The STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION (SIC) for linen rental services is 7213, and the BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD is $10.5 million. This acquisition will be unrestricited.
