Description

The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices and its respective Bureaus has a requirement for the lease of numeric, alphanumeric and two-way pagers and cellular phones. Therefore, Treasury expects to award Treasury-wide contracts for these requirements druing the first quarter of Calendar Year 2001. In support of this mission, the Department of the Treasury is seeking comments on the draft statement of work (SOW) for pagers and cellular phones. Specifically, the Government requests Contractor input addressing the following concerns: (1) What type of contract structure would prove to be most beneficial in supporting secure and non-secure Paging and/or Cellular Phone Services? (2) What are the different optional services provided by the contractor for Paging and/or Cellular Phone Services? (3) What would be the most cost-effective plan for procuring Pager and/or Cellular Phone Services? (4) What is the most cost-effective invoicing method for Pager and/or Cellular Phone Services? (5) Please identify any overcall charges for Pager and/or Cellular Phone Services and (6) Please identify any flat rate plans for Pager and/or Cellular Phone Services which include all charges. If you would like to receive a copy of the draft SOW for the pagers and/or cellular phones, please request a copy electronically by notifying Ms. Minnie Wright at 202-622-0209 or e-mailing her at (minnie.wright@do.treas.gov). Requests for the draft SOWs will also be accepted via FAX at 202-622-2343. These SOWs are draft and could change before the solicitations are issued. Also, please note that any interested contractors need only be able to provide one of the tow services not both. All responses are due by 5:00 p.m., December 19, 2000.
