Description

The project consists of repairing the existing skylight at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Federal Building and US Courthouse. All joints of the skylight system are to be replaced and/or reworked including the ridge cap and edge conditions. All work shall be performed from the roof. The building will be occupied during construction. Work is contemplated to move sequentially across the skylight so that the correlated partial area of atrium floor can be roped off as the work progresses. The drawings consist of sheets 27-A-001 through 27-A-006 and are copies of the "as-built" shop drawings describing the exsiting work in place, all of which is to be repaired. The estimated range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The SIC/NAICS code for this project is 1793/235920, and the size standard is $11.5 million. The completion time for this project is 80 days. This procurement is open to all business concerns. Woman-owned and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submmit an offer. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be available for downloading on or about December 21, 2000.
