Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, appliances, and materials necessary to perform maintenance and repairs to airfield pavements. The principal features of this project shall include but not be limited to asphalt concrete pavement maintenance (cold-planing, resurfacing, patching and jet seal surface), repair (with new base course, base course scarification or asphalt-treated base), repair concrete pavement (partial or full depth repair), repair crack and joint, restriping (stripes, words, and symbols) and associated work (adjustments to static ground and installation of geotextile material). The site of the work contemplated under this project is located on Hickam Air Force Base in the state of Hawaii. This project is unrestricted for construction SIC code 1611. This solicitation is for one basic year and four option one year option periods. The estimated maximum cost will be $5,000,000 per year. This solicitation will only be available on the Internet at the following address: http://www.eps.gov on about 20 December 2000. All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity.
