Description

Proposed Synopsis Description: The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to place a class of orders under the Air Force Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) F34601-00-G-0006 with General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), Evendale, Ohio. The supplies and services provided by GEAE will incorporate various ECPs in support the F110-GE-400 aircraft engine. The contractor support entails assistance with identification of engine interfaces, installation of in-cell test instrumentation, lease of peculiar test equipment, and on-site support for troubleshooting purposes during installation and engine operations. GEAE is the only known commercial source who possesses the required expertise and knowledge to provide the required effort See Note No. 22 -- NAVAIR Synopsis No. 20115-00.
