First Article Test Report is due 238 DACA. Without First Article delivery is 5 each 250 days after contract award and 5 each month thereafter until shipped complete. Quantity: 37 each with two 100% options. Applicable to the AH-64 Airframe. FOB Origin to Texarkana, TX. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Approved sources are The Purdy Corporation, Manchester, CT, Boeing Precision Gear Inc., Chicago, IL and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Mesa, AZ. The time required for approval of a new supplier is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
