Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida has a requirement for welding powder. The requirement calls for 300, ten-pound containers of welding powder manufactured by The Westaim Corporation. The Government intends to negotiate only with The Westaim Corporation of Fort Saskatchew, AB Cananda under the authority of FAR 6.302. This welding powder is the only kind that is approved for use at the Naval Aviation Depot Jacksonville, Florida. This requirement is being procured under FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures Test Program. Numbered Note 22 applies to this requirement.
