Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FULMCA0286-0100. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The standard industrial classification code is 3663. Place of delivery and acceptance is at Edwards AFB, CA, with an FOB destination. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), has a requirement to change the frequencies of operation from S-Band to L-Band of AACOM Systems AT6420S transmitters (P/N 10557). The modified units must be form, fit, and function compatible with the L-Band transmitters that are currently in use. The Government intends to award this contract action to AACOM Systems unless other offerors can provide this requirement with better terms and conditions.
