Description

The USDA, Forest Service intends to award an Architect/Engineer contract for a Building Code Review and development of a construction prospectus for remodeling of the Redwood Sciences Laboratory in Arcata, California. The building was built in 1979 was constructed to allow for future addition of a third floor. This project includes completion of a condition survey of the entire building and development of a prospectus and cost estimate for planned future construction. Selection of the Architect/Engineer will be based on specialized experience, capability of the firm to perform, professional qualifications of the staff to be assigned to the project, past performance for similar projects, and location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project. Appropriate data for this project must be submitted on Standard Forms 254 and 255 no later than January 9, 2001. Submission should emphasize experience on similar projects.
