Description

The National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Information Systems (DIS), has a requirement for acquiring information technology support services. These services include development and maintenance for NSF's mission and administrative information systems. These systems include: FastLane, the Award System, the Proposal and Reviewer System, the Financial System, and a variety of WEB applications, including NSF's Home Page. A wide range of support will be required, including: system design and development, changes to existing applications, database management, data quality, security reviews and plans, risk assessment, and technology assessment. It is expected that multiple awards will result from this solicitation. The contract(s) will be for one year with four one-year options to extend, and will be IDIQ contract(s) implemented by Task Orders. Task Orders will be awarded on a firm fixed-price or cost reimbursement, fixed fee basis. All potential offerors should download the solicitation from the following Website: http://www.nsf.gov/bfa/cpo/contract/sol.htm. All amendments to the solicitation will also be included at the Website referenced. The RFP is expected to be issued on or about December 20, 2000. To ensure receipt of all special notices and communications that might not be posted to the Website, organizations should submit a notice via e-mail to jleithea@nsf.gov indicating potential interest and providing a return address for receipt of these communications. Telephone requests will NOT be honored. Full and open competition is solicited under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541511 "Custom Computer Programming Services." Since this is an unrestricted acquisition, a price evaluation adjustment will be provided for small, disadvantaged businesses.
