Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation, DMEA90-01-R-0010, is issued as a request for proposal. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334413 with a small business size standard of 500. The Government intends to award all items on a sole source basis to VAutomation, Inc., 6862 Santa Teresa Boulevard, San Jose, CA 95119-1205 (408)360-2136. The authority for sole source is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), supplies or services are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. In accordance with the Statement of Work, Items: 0001, Vautomation Turbo 186 Synthesizable Processor Core QTY 1 EA; 0002, Software Support QTY 1 LO, Period of Performance: 01 JAN 2001 to 31 DEC 2002. Delivery and acceptance at Defense Microelectronics Activity, 4234 54th Street, McClellan CA 95652-2100.
