Description

GSA is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract will be a fixed price effort to provide information technology software and maintenance for use by HQ AMC/FM; Scott Air Force Base, IL 62225. Requirement is for one each of the following: (1) e-TESTER, a functional/regression testing tool and serves as the script recorder for the entire e-TEST suite; (2) e-LOAD, emulates multiple virtual users accessing a site simultaneously through TrueLoad technology, and measures the effect of the load on application performance; (3) e-MONITOR, monitors the application after it is released to production to ensure functionality; (4) On-Site consulting and training; and (5) maintenance for a period of one year. Use of RSW Software, A Teradyne Company, is being considered to satisfy the Government's requirements. No other service provider is known to be capable of providing comparable software and support to meet the service requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation, reference Number 5TS5701C040. NAICS Code 511210, Computer Software Publishers, packaged, applies. Size standard is $18.0 million. This requirement is to provide the software and maintenance identified. Period of performance is anticipated to be December 2000 through December 2001. FAR 52.252-2 applies to this acquisition.
