Description

The Office of Naval Research (ONR) has a requirement to obtain technical support over the telephone for Microsoft's entire product line, specifically Windows 2000. ONR requires immediate technical support twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week to facilitate smooth migrations into new products/versions, product support, troubleshooting, and hot-fix issues. ONR will require up to two-hundred (200) hours of technical support for a one-year period. The contractor will not be on-site at ONR. All technical support will be performed over the telephone. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00014-01-R-0002 is issued as a request for proposal. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12.
