- Description
- Fuels abatement work (machine piling/crushing/firebreak preparation) on the LaCroix Ranger District, Superior National Forest, St. Louis County, MN. The work to be accomplished is in areas affected by the July 4, 1999, wind storm. Dead, down and severly damaged trees will be treated. Healthy live trees would only be treated for operations or worker safety. Desired date for starting work is approximately January 15, 2001. Completion date is March 31, 2002. See numbered note #1.
