Description

This is a definitive update to the previous sources sought for this project. This project will only consist of a basic period not to exceed 6.5 months beginning 1 April 01 and concluding 15 Oct 01. There is no potential for a follow on contract after the performance period ends. A solicitation is not presently available; however, the Statement of Need (SON) was previously presented for industry comment. The Government would like to know based on this information if there is still an interest for the project within industry. Please consider all factors when submitting an interest, such as, start up costs, lack of time for amortization, and other significant financial impacts. Interested parties are asked to submit financial disclosure that would demonstrate ability to sustain operations for at least three months while awaiting payment from the Government should an award be made. This information is necessary and without which serious inquiries will not be entertained. Please do not send an interest in project without sending financial capability. Such information will become part of the evaluation criteria once a solicitation is made available. All information provided will considered proprietary and not released to the public unless made part of the contract file and releasable under FOIA. Statements of interest and other requested information is due no later 22 Dec 01 at 2:00 pm SCT. Electronic submissions are acceptable.
