Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) San Diego Healthcare System, an entity of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 22, has a requirement for Contractor-provided Health Care services (i.e. community based outpatient clinic), to be located within El Centro, CA area. The Contractor shall provide Primary/Preventive Care services at the Contractor's facility to eligible veteran beneficiaries. The ideal location is located within the Imperial Valley and Brawley communities. It is anticipated that the facility would be providing medical care to approximately 500 veteran patients by Year 5 of contract with base year period and four option year periods. Services required under this solicitation are determined to be commercially available. Contractor's personnel shall be subject to the same quality assurance standards in meeting or exceeding National Standards as established by JCAHO. All businesses are encouraged to reply (NAICS 621111, $7.5m). Solicitation will be issued on/about January 12, 2001, with responses due on/about February 12, 2001.
