Description

(International) PROGRAM ASSISTANT The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking administrative and program management staff to serve as program assistants in its Washington, DC-based Technical Assistance Office. The persons selected will be hired under personal services contract. The Office of Technical Assistance provides technical assistance in 30 countries in five functional areas: enforcement, government debt issuance and management, budget policy, financial institutions policy, and tax policy. Program assistants will provide administrative and backstop support to overseas advisors in one of the functional areas and will provide general support for operations in all areas. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills and a bachelor_s degree. U.S. citizenship is required. Salaries are negotiable from $28,866 to $37,522 and will be negotiated in accordance with program regulations and based on demonstrated salary history, not to exceed the maximum indicated. The period of performance of the contracts will be one year with the option to extend for additional year(s).
