Description

This publication serves as a notice of intent to procure, on a sole-source basis, with Global Crossing, for reservation of ten (10) ports for the MIT-SDM classes and students, from February 1, 2001 -- September 30, 2001. This procurement is being conducted under commercial procedures, and other that full and open competition. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine a comparable source or offerors are available and more advantageous to the Government. This notice may represent the only official notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract award based upon this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
