Description

This procurement falls under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, over $25K and under $50K. This procurement is unrestricted. For twelve (12) months following award, the contractor shall provide news clippings (clipped from publications and containing all graphics and photographs) from same day newspapers and major busines publications throughout the United States. Actual clipping from publications required, TRANSCRIPTS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. These clippings shall be customized to select articles of interest to the Department of Energy, using key words and/or phrases (subject to change at any time) and be delivered via facsimile prior to 9:30 a.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST) each workday. Transmissions are not required on weekends or Federal holidays, however, these clippings must be received prior to 9:30 a.m. EST the following Monday. Over sixty (60) publications across the United States are required to be monitored each day the publication is published (a listing of newspapers, newsmgazines, key words and key phrases are available upon request). Past experience in providing the service requested is essential and must be demonstrated prior to award. See Note(s) 23 *****
