Description

Single award term contract for the Department of Energy (Westinghouse Savannah River company) located in Aiken, SC. This contract is for the period of February 1, 2001 and ends January 31, 2002, with option years. Quality Level II is required. These specifications cover the production of tags requiring such operations as electronic prepress, film-making, printing, binding, packing and distribution. Approximately 3-8 orders per month. Category 1-all orders up to and including 4,999 tags; Category 2 -- all orders of 5,000 tags and over. Face only or face and back. Format A -- up to and including 20 square inches; Format " -- from 21 square inches up to and including 30 square inches; Format C -- from 31 square inches up to and including 35 square inches. Material required includes Printable Vinyl (PVC) .010, .020 thickness, white and colors; and 100% Virgin Polyester PET, no regrind, oriented or unoriented (intrinsic viscosity .8 or higher) Top coated print grade, ultra violet inhibitor (UVI), .010 thickness, Opaque White. Printing in from 1 to 3 ink colors. Adhesives required. Overlay/Laminate -- Polyester PET, 2-5 mil thick, clear, satin. Drilling, reinforcements, and attachments required. Clipped corners, numbering, and perforations also required. Deliver f.o.b. destination to Aiken, SC. Contractor must complete production and delivery within 20 2orkdays after notification of the availability of print order and furnished materials.
