- Description
- Provide observer training unit for new groundfish observer training class The NMFS Observer Program requires a communications specialist to develop and teach a four-hour unit of interpersonal skills to new observer trainees. Classes will begin second week of January 2001. The trainer will develop a four-hour unit to be offered to new groundfish observer trainees during their three-week training class. Training will be conducted nine times at the North Pacific Fisheries Observer Training Center (OTC) in Anchorage, Alaska and twice at the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) in Seattle. Trainer must have had directly related experience in training interpersonal skills. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
