Description

Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for the following items in support of the SH-60B:FlyAway Kits (P/N 70700-72000-011, quantity 6 each.) The Government intends to procure these kits under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, CT is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary for the support involved. Firms that recognize and support the SH-60B FlyAway Kits are encouraged to identify themselves. The Government intends to procure this modification under Basic Ordering Agreement N00383-97-G-012N. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
