Description
Provide one 23_ x 24_ fiberglass boat designed for recreational use which at a minimum meets the following specifications: fiberglass construction, trailerable with galvanized steel dual axle trailer designed to transport this 23_ x 24_ boat, cabin enclosure with heating system, stove, stern drive inboard/outboard 5 liter fresh water cooled motor, built-in dinette, berthing, sink, power trim and tilt, electric windshield wipers, bilge pump, anchor line locker, bow platform with anchor roller integrated into platform, and vessel constructed to meet or exceed all applicable U.S. Coast Guard safety standards. Package to include any owners/technical/maintenance manuals. Quote to include shipping to Homer, Alaska. Delivery is required 45 calendar days after award. Boat is to be marked for: Commanding Officer, USCGC SEDGE (WLB-402), City Pier, Homer, Alaska 99603, POC: PO1 Scott Stykel tel 907/235-2637. Acceptance is at Homer, AK. Award will be made on the basis of best overall value of the proposals meeting or exceeding specifications. Offerors submit information to show that their qualifications meet or exceed specifications. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The National American Industrial classification system (NAICS) for this product is 33612 and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has determined that there are no small business manufacturers or processors in the Federal market and as such are granted a class waiver so that a nonmanufacturer does not have to furnish the product of a small business. The _List of Approved NonManufacturer Waivers_ can be located at the SBA_s Procurement Automated Source System (PASS) at http://www.sbaonline.sba.gov This procurement is set-aside for small business.
