Description

The Memphis District , Corps of Engineers, intends to negotiate with Mobile Pulley and Machine Works, Inc., 905 S. Ann Street, Mobile, AL 36633-1947, on a sole source basis. The work consists of manufacturing replacement parts for the Dredge Hurley. Parts are as follows. (1) Dredge Pump Casing (new) 32" Cast Steel, QTY 1; (2) Rebuild 32" Dredge Pump Casing, QTY 2.; (3) 5-Vane Impeller, QTY 5; (4) Suction Side Liner, QTY 1; (5) Bearing Side Liner, QTY 3; (6) Suction Throat Liner, QTY 2. For the purpose of this procurement, to qualify as a small business, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominant in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the number of employees of a concern and its affiliates must not exceed 1000.
