Description

This solicitation is for the procurement of price listed items manufactured by Smith Eastern Corporation. The intent is to award one contract for the entire price list. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. This solicitation is an RFQ and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfq on its issue date of 29 Dec 00. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 15 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Classes. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
